Like many coaches, my desire to help others has been motivated and inspired by my own journey. My first goal has always been to grow and heal myself. Then, I enjoy taking what I’ve learned and helping others do the same. This means that the ways that I’ve worked with clients over the years has continued to evolve as I have. With each new phase, the ways I can help clients expands.

Here’s a quick overview of the key stages:

After overcoming an intense health battle with conditions that doctors believed to be both permanent and degenerative (including Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, POTS/Dysautonomia, Lupus, Chronic Fatigue, Chronic Pain, Endometriosis, and more), I began teaching others what I had learned about holistic wellness and navigating chronic illness.

From there, I received training and began helping those same individuals with their mindset in order to better implement those changes and reach other goals. This led to deeper work around emotions and emotional intelligence.

Through that, I came to realize, for both me and my clients, that some of the barriers were NOT related to mindset or emotions, but were rooted in trauma and embodied trauma responses. This led to several years of deep diving into trauma healing, nervous system regulation, somatic work, and building resilience. While I do not take on clients whose primary focus is to heal trauma and am not qualified to diagnose or treat mental health conditions, I can recognize when the root of the issue is trauma rather than mindset, guide clients through overcoming the impact of smaller traumas in their life and relationships, support clients if they do become triggered and serve as part of a support team for their healing.

Many of my clients identify as cycle breakers. They grew up with caregivers who were, for various reasons, unable to provide the safety, modeling, and support needed for my clients to develop the skills and secure attachment they needed to be able to have the life and relationship they want as adults. I work with these clients around recognizing where these gaps are, doing the inner work to heal, and learning new skillsets in alignment with the life they want. Common focuses include: developing emotional intelligence, overcoming people-pleasing patterns, learning to set healthy boundaries and communicate needs, and navigating conflict,

Through all these phases, I was working with clients individually, in a 1 on 1 format. And, while there is some work that really is best done individually, much of the work was relational in nature. The main reason they wanted to heal and grow was so that they could enjoy, and feel safe in, intimate relationships with others - something we are all wired for. So, in addition to my 1:1 work, I now also offer relationship coaching. I have found this work to be deeply rewarding as I watch couples who have been struggling for years, finally have the breakthrough they need. Through a combination of deeper emotional work and developing new, practical skillsets, they are finally able to create the healthy, safe, connected relationships they’ve always wanted.

All of these areas of study and personal experience come together in my work to create a holistic, multi-faceted, highly personalized plan for my clients. When we work together, we will create a plan that works for you and your journey, meeting you where you are and helping you get where you’re going.
