TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Hi, I’m Lorrie.
I work with cycle-breakers.
Many of my clients, like myself, have pasts that are filled with pain, unhealthy relationships, trauma, chronic illness, chronic pain, and more.
These types of experiences change your understanding of the world.
Cute, cliche answers that bypass the reality of suffering just won’t cut it.
My clients, are not interested in quick fixes or one-size fits all formulas.
They’re over the typical self-help advice that focuses exclusively on behavior without taking into account their unique situation.
They’re interested in the deeper work that gets down to the roots.
They’re ready to break out of the patterns and cycles keeping them stuck.
Does this sound like you?
If so, let’s talk. Book a call HERE.
Wondering if I’ll understand your situation?
Here are few things I’ve experienced in my life:
Past Trauma
I have experienced verbal abuse, emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual trauma, medical trauma, & spiritual trauma.
This led to a dysregulated nervous system (hypervigilance), panic attacks, debilitating anxiety, and more. While you cannot get an official diagnosis of cPTSD, I have that.
While healing from trauma is an ongoing process, I have made significant strides. My nervous system is no longer dysregulated. My baseline state is one of feeling safe.
Chronic Illness, Chronic Pain, and Disability
I was disabled for over a decade, spending 5 years bedbound, using mobility aids to get around (2009-2014). Despite being told these conditions were permanent and degenerative I have healed/reversed many and reached a level of wellbeing no one thought possible. I’m still not fully able-bodied, but I life a full life.
A few of the conditions I dealt with included: Endometriosis, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Dysautonomia/POTS, Gastroparesis, Fibromyalgia/Chronic Pain, Chronic Fatigue, Lupus, Hormonal Imbalances, Hypothyroid, Adrenal Fatigue, Kidney Stones, Mast Cell Issues/Histamine Intolerance, and more. I have had several concussions ranging mild to severe resulting in ongoing issues.
I have also experienced anxiety, depression, OCD, disordered eating, and other mental health struggles.
Randomness
I grew up on a farm in the midwest: milking goat, collecting eggs from the chickens, canning vegetables we grew in the garden, fishing, and horseback riding.
Before I became disabled, I was an athlete. I participated in gymnastics, softball, volleyball, track, swimming, etc.
I spent time overseas doing humanitarian aid volunteer work before my chronic conditions set in. I’ve spent time in Mexico, Haiti, Spain, Italy, Bosnia, Romania, and more. I’ve had the pleasure to experience many different cultures and appreciate the beauty in so many different ways of life.

Careers
People are significantly more than their careers, and I don’t even love using this as a category, but the point is that my clients come from a wide variety of demographics. Some of my clients’ careers include:
Engineers, CEOs, Entrepreneurs, Teachers, Actors, Artists, Singer/Songwriters, SAHMs, Unemployed/Disabled, Retirees, Illustrators, other Coaches, Nurses, and more.
Politics & Religions
I have coached people from various spiritual backgrounds and religions, including Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Muslims, Baha’i faith, Agnostics, Pagans, etc. as well as those who do not consider themselves religious or spiritual at all.
All religions are welcome! Though, ones that hold love and the immutable worth of humans as part of the value system will be the best fit.
I have coached people all across the political spectrum. I personally am a liberal, and that is very important and personal to me. Yet, I have and do coach those of a more conservative stance as long as there is enough common ground and the focus is on healing, not politics.
Gender, Race, & Sexuality
I am a white, heterosexual, cisgender woman, but have an inclusive coaching practice and have clients of various gender identities, race, and sexual orientation.
I am the proud mama of 2 who are both part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
All are welcome.
I continue to do ongoing education in this field to be able to provide a “safe enough” environment
